So I'm supposed to believe that God made this perfect universe -- and then dangled a single tree in front of Adam and Eve, told them not to eat from it, and they farked the whole thing up solely from eating from that tree.
Can you say "single point of failure," boys and girls? I thought you could. If I built an airplane that would fall apart in the sky because a single rivet popped loose, the FAA would never allow it to fly. The Eden story is as if that same airplane had a red handle hanging from the ceiling, that was marked "do not pull this handle or the plane will fall apart" and was put there for no other purpose than to cause the airplane to fall apart. You know as well as I that some joker is going to pull that handle sooner or later.
Was God incapable of building a universe without such a glaring single point of failure? Then God is not omnipotent.
Did God really believe that Adam and Eve would never eat from that tree? Then God is not omniscient.
Did God believe that Adam and Eve would *not* eat from that tree? Then God set humanity up.
Did God just not care? And yet He cares how I use my naughty bits?
