The big problem for Creationists is that when you trundle out a Pratt like this that is so obviously dumb, you achieve 2 things.
The person you are talking to realizes that you don't understand the Law of Thermodynamics at all, and that you are just parroting something you heard in church.
But the big impact is on your kids. When they use that argument, and get scornfully corrected in one sentence ("Haven't you heard of the Sun, you moron?"), your credibility goes down the drain.
They'll remember that they were fed BS, and they'll start to wonder what else of your "wisdom" belongs in the same category.
